General Service Worker – Casual

Cloverleaf Manor – Warburg AB

Leduc Regional Housing Foundation is looking for an enthusiastic individual who enjoys working in a team environment. This casual position will be required to work a variety of shifts.  Shifts may include mornings, afternoons, and nights. Applicants should be prepared and able to work all shifts.  Duties may include kitchen-related responsibilities such as cleaning, cooking and food preparation or housekeeping responsibilities and other duties as assigned.   A high standard of service is expected.

Qualifications: Previous cooking experience, strong work ethic, WHMIS and Standard First Aid Certificate would be an asset; A sincere interest in working with and meeting the needs of our residents.

All employees must have a Pre-Employment Fit to Work Assessment, a clear criminal record with vulnerable sector check, and be fully COVID-19 vaccinated prior to your start date.

Site Caretaker – Full-Time

Various Locations - Leduc County

Reporting to the Asset Manager, the Site Caretaker will work flexible hours while managing the day to day janitorial needs. The incumbent will maintain the interior cleanliness of the buildings, assist on the exterior yard maintenance and co-ordinate work with other LRHF staff.  The Site Caretaker is part of the Maintenance and Leduc Regional Housing Foundation team and ensures that a high quality of service is provided.

QUALIFICATIONS

  1. High School diploma or equivalent required.
  2. Experience in apartment janitorial cleaning.
  3. Strong organizational and communication skills.
  4. Ability to work alone and a team environment.
  5. Knowledge of W.H.M.I.S. program.
  6. Standard First Aid Certificate.
  7. Must have a valid driver's licence and own vehicle.  Buildings to be cleaned are located in various areas in Leduc County.
  8. A sincere desire to work within the non-market housing industry to assist Leduc Regional Housing Foundation to achieve its Vision.
