Full-Time Maintenance Worker I - Leduc AB - click here for a job description.

Leduc Regional Housing Foundation is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual for a permanent, Full-time Maintenance Worker I position (37.5 hours/week). Reporting to the Site & Asset Manager, the Maintenance Worker I will complete routine building maintenance duties, including minor electrical, plumbing, heating and carpentry and maintains the buildings grounds to a high standard ensuing that quality service is provided to the residents and tenants within the Leduc Region.

QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Experience maintaining grounds. 
  2. Experience completing minor building repairs.
  3. Ability to work independently.      
  4. W.H.M.I.S. Training.
  5. Standard First Aid certificate.
  6. A sincere desire and ability to work in the housing industry.

Salary Compensation: Min: $19.67        Mid: $21.69         Max: $23.91

Leduc Regional Housing Foundation is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual for a permanent, Full-time Tenancy Administrator position (37.5 hours/week). Reporting to the Tenant Services Manager, the Tenancy Administrator will manage tenant intake, placement and tenancies for a Leduc Regional Housing Foundation (LRHF) housing portfolio and rent supplement programs (seniors’ apartment, non-seniors’ housing, and rent supplement) throughout the Leduc Region.  The Tenancy Administrator is a member of the Tenant Services team; exemplifying LRHF values while working collaboratively within LRHF and the Leduc Region to provide a high quality of service.

QUALIFICATIONS

  1. High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
  2. Certified Practitioner Designation (CertCIH), Chartered Institute of Housing, Canada.
  3. Property management experience with knowledge of related legislation (e.g., Residential Tenancies Act, Alberta Housing Act & Regulations).
  4. Property Management Software experience (YARDI an asset).
  5. Intermediate computer/keyboarding skills and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) experience.
  6. Knowledge & experience with wireless communication technology.
  7. Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
  8. Detail oriented with a demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple tasks utilizing strong time management skills.
  9. Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise good judgment, demonstrate initiative.
  10. Ability to work a flexible schedule (some evenings and weekends) to meet the needs to the tenants.
  11. Valid Class 5 Drivers License and reliable vehicle insured for business use.
  12. Satisfactory Criminal Records Check including Vulnerable Sector Check.
  13. Emergency First Aid Certificate.
  14. A sincere desire to work within the non-market housing industry to assist Leduc Regional Housing Foundation to achieve its Vision.
